ticTOCs and e-JULIA integrated with JULIA
ticTOCs is a Journal Table of Contents Service funded by JISC. Currently they provide table of contents for more then 12000 scholarly journals from 435 publishers. The service allows you to view the latest TOC for each journal providing link to the fulltext of more then 350000 articles (where institutional or personal subscription allows). They also supply a RSS feed for each TOC so that you can monitor new issues and its content.
For journals available in JULIA we can now boast with ticTOCs integration. The new dynamic lookup of e-JULIA services provide samples of the latest articles and a link to the TOC RSS feed, besides the link to fulltext or abstract from a data provider.
See if your favorite journal is a part of the ticTOC service by looking it up in JULIA. If you just want to try it out a good example is Scandinavian journal of rehabilitation medicine.
The ticTOCs RSS feed does not offer linking through our proxy-server, neither does the sample articles (they use DOI linking/lookup). But you can always use our nifty reload page through proxy bookmarklet if you are outside of campus network.
We are now looking into importing more then 15000 records of electronic journals into JULIA, further expanding its richness and breaking down information silos.
